The main order of business was to develop a budget for KASL to present to Council in April. The officers discussed KASL’s priorities as a section of KLA, budget, leadership, attendance at district workshops, and brainstormed ideas for activities. Our plan is to make the merger as seamless as possible so that our members can continue to enjoy the things they value most about KASL while having access to the benefits KLA can offer. We will talk about specifics as the year goes along on the list and at the district workshops.
We also really enjoyed each other’s company, and most of us were able to eat supper together at Hays House after the meeting.
